Radical polymerization initiation - AZDN
Azo-initiator AZDN is used for bulk, solution, suspension and occasionally emulsion polymerization of monomers such as acrylamide, acrylonitrile, methyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, styrene, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride.
The polymers produced by these processes are used in the manufacture of acrylic glass sheets, acrylic fibers, flocculants, paints, coating resins, textiles and many other applications. AZDN is also used in the manufacture of modified polymer polyols and the copolymerization of vinyl compounds.
Blowing agents - AZDN
AZDN is used as a low temperature chemical blowing agent for pressure blown PVC and silicone rubber. End applications include wind turbine blades, isolation panels, flotation devices, boat structures, seats foams…
